My Approach

Caring. Reliable. Trustworthy. These are all attributes that you look for in someone that will be caring for yourself or your family member.

I was sole carer for my father for 27 years, who suffered from Parkinson’s and later developed dementia.

I have a personal understanding of how challenging both mental and physical ailments can be for the individual and their family.

My Story

I have worked for the NHS for over 25 years, and I have volunteered and worked for Age UK for the last three years, befriending lonely and vulnerable senior citizens, taking them shopping, to medical appointments and having a chat over a cup of tea.

I am now a Dementia Friend, a course that makes you more aware. There’s more to a person than their dementia.

Alzheimer’s Society’s Dementia Friends programme is the biggest ever initiative to change people’s perceptions of dementia. It aims to transform the way the nation thinks, acts and talks about the condition.

Transport

I have transportation available for those who require it; no matter what your needs, I can pick you up and take you to where you need to go. Alternately, I can collect you from appointments as required, or just take you for a drive and a cup of tea.

Meet the Team

I have a personal understanding of how challenging both mental and physical ailments can be for an individual and their family and as an approved pet therapy dog owner, my dog Stanley and I can brighten up anyone’s day!

My name is Stanley (aka ‘Stan the Man’) and I am qualified through the PAT program – Pets As Therapy for those who do not know! I am young and full of fun, and extremely whiskery… am I a bit cheeky? Well, sometimes, but let’s face it, who doesn’t love a bit of cheek!

Brian Tearle (R.I.P.)

Pet Therapist and all round Wonder Dog Brian passed away peacefully in June 2026.

After many years of being cute, playful, and making people smile, Brian retired from Pet Therapy in September of 2024, and spent his retirement napping, snacking, receiving lots of love, continuing to make people smile and being the absolute definition of a ‘good boy’.

He will be greatly missed by everyone who new him.

Thank you Brian for being such a loving and loyal friend, you will always be in my heart.

Rest in peace.

Woof.
